Bloc Party has a small share with their new song called Talons and the single Baquet. "Talons", a new song streaming on Bloc Party's MySpace, is an extra track from the sessions that produced the middling Intimacy. In addition to being given away as a free track to those who downloaded the album, "Talons" will also be released as a single in late October in the UK. See the video clip:

The Bonde do Role is a quartet that mixes curitibano samplers of rock with the funk beats typical of Rio, Brazil. International producer Diplo first found out about the band through their MySpace account, and pushed them using his own fledgling label, Mad Decent, before Bonde was signed to Domino in 2006. Bonde has been used in various media after being signed to the British label Domino Records: Solta o Frango (which literally means: "release the chicken") is currently heard in a worldwide campaign for the cellphone company Nokia, the track was also used in another commercial for the hit series Ugly Betty on Channel 4 in the UK and it is also to be a feature on the soundtrack of Electronic Arts game Fifa 2008. GQ magazine used their song Office Boy for the behind-the-scenes photo shoot of actress Jessica Alba by photographer Terry Richardson. In July 2006 the banda made a tour by the United States and Canada with Diplo and banda CSS. In 2007, the group announced the departure of singer Marina, for the sake of an internal fight among the trio.
