Those Dancing Days are an indie pop band from Nacka, a suburb of Stockholm, Sweden. Most notably compared to Northern Soul and 1960s era girl-groups, the band formed in 2005 while the members were all still in school. They are currently signed to Wichita Recordings. The band consists of five young girls from Stockholm. Their name derives from the Led Zeppelin song "Dancing Days".
Two of the band members completed school as late as summer 200 and they received a lot of publicity during 2007 including being featured in NME and on MTV2. They were also nominated for the Best Swedish Act prize at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007. The band has played many gigs in their native Sweden as well as in the United Kingdom and Germany.
They released a 5-track EP in Sweden before being signed by UK label Wichita Recordings, who released a self-titled single in October 2007 (described as "Blondie backed by the Attractions", and "The Slits rehearsing with Bow Wow Wow whilst breaking in a new drummer"), with a second single, "Hitten". Their debut full length album In Our Space Hero Suits was released on October 6th 2008, preceded by a single Home Sweet Home on September 29th.
LMFAO is an electro-hop group from the Central Coast that consists of DJ/rappers Redfoo (Stephen Kendal Gordy) and Sky Blu (Skyler Gordy) (Uncle and Nephew respectively). The group's name comes from a text message Sky Blu received from his grandmother. LMFAO is currently signed to Interscope Records.They have a single titled "I'm in Miami Bitch" (alternate title "I'm In Miami Trick") which peaked at #51 on the Billboard Hot 100. On July 1, 2008, LMFAO released Party Rock EP on the iTunes music store. Their full album Party Rock leaked on June 23, 2009, containing 15 tracks, only 5 of which were unheard. They have recently produced a single for Pitbull entitled "Back to the Future," which samples Fergie's verse from Boom Boom Pow ("I'm so three-thousand-and-eight, you're so two-thousand-and-late") as the hook
