Skol Beats 2008 - Brazil



Skol Beats 2008 will be the ninth edition of the festival of electronic music Skol Beats, sponsored by Skol brand of beer.

The event was initially scheduled to be held on 9 and May 10 in Area Skol Beats, the same place where he was held in the previous year. But in March was disclosed at the official website of the event in 2008 that it will be done on September 27. This year, production of the event decided to co-create the event along with the public, through discussions on the forum's website on the artists and format of the event. Most artists were chosen in view of the votes made in the forum.

The Chemical Brothers - Brotherhood

The Chemical Brothers return with BROTHERHOOD a best of collection with a kick and a twist, set for release on 1st September 2008.

We the Kings


We the Kings is an American powerpop band from Bradenton, Florida. They are signed to the independent label S-Curve Records (distributed by EMI Music), and their debut full-length was released in October 2007. Since then they have completed a variety of tours, most recently the Vans Warped Tour, and in October 2008 they are scheduled to begin another co-headlining tour with The Academy Is.... The band also sports their own miniature series of webisodes, called The King's Carriage, detailing life on their tour bus.

Morningwood



Morningwood is an alternative rock band from New York City, USA, founded in 2001. Morningwood is signed to Capitol Records.
Their song "Nth Degree" has been used in several Mercury vehicle commercials, featuring actress Jill Wagner. Another of their songs, "Nü Rock", was used in the video games Burnout Revenge, SSX On Tour, Thrillville. A demo version of a Morningwood song called "Warrior" was used in a Payless shoes TV spot. Morningwood received national exposure in the United States as a finalist in December 2005 Yahoo.com's Who's Next.
