LADYTRON

Ladytron is an electronic pop band originally based in Liverpool, England, although members originate from Sofia and Glasgow as well as Liverpool itself. The band has been active since 1999, releasing three full-length albums, with a fourth album due in June 2008 (Velocifero). Ladytron tours extensively around the world, both with live shows and DJ sets.
Velocifero is the fourth studio album from Ladytron and their first to be released by their new label, Nettwerk. The disc was produced by the band in Paris, with Alessandro Cortini and Ed Banger associate Vicarious Bliss. Ladytron have a glorious return to form with their brand new track, "Black Cat".

Santogold

This is better than good; this is gold — SANTOGOLD!

Santogold is a survivor of a half-century worth of living along musical evolution’s most cutting edges, from Brooklyn, New York. The only live act that can boast of having out-aged Barbara Bush, having outlived Mr. Miyagi and out-styled Liberace, Santogold is here with future flavor.


Composed of absolutely no members, Santogold is also the first musical outfit capable of claiming the planet’s broiling collective consciousness as their front woman. Longtime collaborator, singer and songwriter Santi White says of her work with Santogold, “We began trying to write pop songs to sell, which made us depressed, so we started writing songs for ourselves instead.” The results of that self-centered conceit is the songwriting work heard for the first time on the full length Santogold album, as yet untitled, to be released in 2007 on the Lizard King label.

The trajectory of such early successes leading to newfound political clout is nothing new for Santogold, whose debut album, though half a century in the making, is sure to rock glass pipes from the Lincoln Memorial to Buckingham palace. The flavor of the gold is guaranteed: Santogold!

Young Love

Young Love is an American dance-rock band formed in 2005 in New York City, New York. The band is comprised of Dan Keyes who handles the majority of the production and songwriting in addition to providing lead vocals. Young Love's debut full-length album, Too Young to Fight It.

January 30, 2007 was the official release of Young Love's full-length debut, Too Young to Fight It. The album includes both "Discotech" and "Tragedy" along with nine more original songs.

Members include Dan Keyes, Bob Mann, Terry, Ross, and Erik.

Calvin Harris

Harris began making music at 15 in his bedroom, in Dumfries, Scotland. His earliest success was when he was 18: the songs "Da Bongos" and "Brighter Days" were released as a 12" club single and CD-EP by the Prima Facie label in early 2002 under the name Stouffer.

Harris signed contracts with EMI (publishing) and Sony BMG (recording) in 2006, after his music had been discovered on the social networking website MySpace.

His first album I Created Disco was released on 18 June 2007. The album contained uptempo electroclash songs that were influenced by music from the 1980s.

The Whip is an electro band from Manchester, UK, formed in 2006. The band members are Danny Saville, Lil Fee, Nathan Sudders and Bruce Carter. In 2006, they released both Frustration and Trash. This was soon followed in 2007 by the release of three singles through a selection of labels; Muzzle No.1, Divebomb and Sister Siam.

The band's debut album, 'X Marks Destination', was released on Southern Fried Records on March 24th 2008. The album was preceded by the re-release of a newly recorded version of Trash.

Born 1978 as Julien Pradeyrol in Paris, France. Is a electronica, dance and hip-hop artist, working both independently and as part of TTC. He is also co-founder of the independent hip hip and electronica record label Institubes. He is of Italian descent. Shy Child - Noise Won't Stop

Shy Child is a band from New York City consisting of Pete Cafarella on vocals and keytar and Nate Smith on drums. The duo was formed in New York in the summer of 2000, Cafarella and Smith having previously played together in the band El Guapo (now called Supersystem). The band has played for years in New York, and in more recent years has toured in the United States, Europe, and Japan. In the summer of 2006 they signed with UK label Wall of Sound.

In early 2007, Shy Child released the singles "Drop the Phone" and "Noise Won't Stop" in the UK. The group released the single "Summer" in September 2007, followed by an October headline tour around the UK. "Drop the Phone" was re-released in November, where it was picked as Jo Whiley's "Pet Sound" of the week on Radio One.
